Let’s make magic.

  • Fiona is the founder of Mama Matters and is about to have her third babe!

Whilst on maternity leave, Fiona is throwing the 1:1 consults over to her trusty sidekicks.

The Honest Sleep Support service has been developed and refined over a number of years, and is based on Fiona’s experience in Social Work, Early Intervention Parenting, Circle of Security, Baby-Led Sleep, and Possums for Babies.

Whilst Nat and Sheridan draw from their own unique backgrounds and knowledge, the underlying values of responsive, attachment-centred and developmentally appropriate sleep support are upheld through this service.

We’re all here on a shared mission: to uncomplicate sleep and parenting, and find confidence and joy in motherhood through supportive consults.

  • Meet Sheridan, a psychologist, sleep scientist, holistic sleep specialist, and registered Circle of Security Parenting facilitator - and mama to a beautiful toddler (with another on the way).

Sheridan has made it her mission to share her extensive knowledge of sleep science, psychology, and child development to empower parents to make informed decisions and raise happy, thriving children.

Sheridan's approach is grounded in respect for every family's unique needs and circumstances. Above all, Sheridan is passionate about helping parents feel confident and empowered in their parenting journey, and enhancing the connection and communication between parents and children.

Sheridan loves working with babies and kiddos of any age with a range of sleep challenges or transitions.

  • Samantha is our Mental Health Accredited Social Worker .

  • Meet Nat - a licensed psychologist and loving mama to one hyperactive little boy. Using her training in various therapeutic approaches like acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, positive psychology, and even clinical hypnotherapy, Natalie helps parents tap into their unique strengths to build a stronger relationship with their little ones and find more enjoyment in the everyday moments.

She is also trained in Neuroprotective Developmental Care (Possums & Co), a revolutionary approach that combines the latest research in infant sleep, attachment, and mental health to help families achieve better sleep and greater overall wellbeing - without resorting to harsh sleep training methods.

Nat loves working with families with little babies and up to 18 months with a range of sleep-cry-fuss challenges.
