MUMS do a LOT OF HOLDING. BUT WHO’S HOLDING YOU?

Motherhood is no easy transition and such a shift deserves the same level of support.

We believe that every mama deserves a compassionate, non-judgemental space to honour the huge impact of motherhood.

BECAUSE MAMA MATTERS.

“therapy is about understanding the self that you are. But part of getting to know yourself is to unknow yourself—to let go of the limiting stories you’ve told yourself about who you are so that you aren’t trapped by them, so you can live your life and not the story you’ve been telling yourself about your life.”

LORI GOTTLIEB, FROM HER BOOK “MAYBE YOU SHOULD TALK TO SOMEONE”

Meet Samantha.

Samantha is passionate about supporting women in pregnancy, postpartum and throughout the early years of their children's life.

As an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker she has additional knowledge and training in infant and parent mental health and attachment, and early intervention parenting support.

She's also a Circle of Security facilitator, to boot; and her gentle, compassionate approach will provide you with the warm, comfortable therapeutic space all mothers deserve.

  • A 60 minute session with Samantha is $180 and with a Mental Health Care Plan, you will get a Medicare rebate of $85.20 making your out of pocket cost $94.80.

Accredited Mental Health Social Workers (AMHSWs) are recognised providers with Medicare Australia and other programs (including BUPA). They have received accreditation to deliver mental health services utilising a range of evidence-based strategies. AMHSWs are highly trained and educated professionals, meeting some of the highest standards of professional regulation in Australia.

Like registered psychologists, AMHSW’s hold professional registration and provide evidence-based therapy, the main difference between the two being that AMHSW’s do not provide psychological testing.

Like seeing a psychologist, seeing an AMHSW is medicare rebated by accessing a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP (by seeing your GP face-to-face or via a phone or Telehealth appointment).

With a Mental Health Care Plan, you can access 10 Medicare rebated sessions per calendar year, with the above mentioned rebate per session

Meet HELENA.

Motherhood can shake you, soften you, and stretch you in ways you didn’t see coming. Helena gets it - because she’s lived it too. As a fellow mum of two boys and Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, she’s here to offer a space where you can exhale and feel fully seen.

Helena brings a calm, down-to-earth energy to therapy. She’ll meet you right where you are - whether that’s in the thick of new motherhood, navigating identity shifts, or managing the weight of anxiety or self-doubt. Her support is relational first: no checklists, just honest conversations, gentle guidance, and tools that actually feel doable in the chaos of real life.

With training in ACT, CBT, DBT skills, and as a Circle of Security facilitator, Helena offers evidence-based support - but more importantly, she’ll help you come back to you. Her focus isn’t on “fixing” you, but helping you feel more resourced, more grounded, and more connected in your day-to-day.

  • A 75-minute Initial Consult with Helena is $205, and with a Mental Health Care Plan, you’ll get a Medicare rebate of $85.20, making your out-of-pocket cost $119.80. Subsequent 60-minute sessions are $180, with a Medicare rebate of $85.20, making your out-of-pocket cost $94.80.

Accredited Mental Health Social Workers (AMHSWs) are recognised providers with Medicare Australia and several private health funds, including HCF, Bupa, Teachers Health Fund, Doctors Health, St Lukes Health, and Australian Regional Health Group Ancillary Provider Accreditation Service. AMHSWs meet high professional standards, with accreditation to deliver mental health services using a range of evidence-based strategies.

Like registered psychologists, AMHSWs provide professional, evidence-based therapy but do not perform psychological testing. With a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you can access up to 10 Medicare-rebated sessions per calendar year with a rebate of $85.20 per session.
