You'll receive an intake form on booking and a personal email with recommendations and relevant resources within 48 hours of your booked slot (provided the intake is completed before then).

The Honest Sleep Consult is the wham-bam-thankyou-maam of sleep support.

Your consultant will review your intake prior to your 60 minute Zoom or Phone consult, so that you can make the most of your time together working through any challenges you might have.

  • You might be experiencing bedtime battles, frequent wakefulness or approaching a transition you need some guidance around - such as night weaning or moving on from bedsharing.

    You might be feeling as though you’re missing something, or you know there are some creative ways to go about changes that you haven’t thought of yet.

    KEEP IN MIND…

    This consult doesn’t include any follow-up support after the call. However, clients have an option to book quick troubleshooting sessions at any time - the link will be provided after your session!

    1. On booking your appointment time for your consult, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to your intake form.

    2. We will need your intake at least 12 hours prior to your appointment.

    3. During your 60 min Zoom or phone session, your consultant will walk you through any insights and recommendations based on the information you provide. We’ll use this time to collaborate with you on a plan that feels aligned with your goals and personal values (no controlled crying or off-the-shelf routines included!).

The full shebang if your sleep sitch needs a proper once-over.

You might be feeling lost or confused about what your child needs from you, how you can gently change up ways you are doing sleep with your child, or you just think there must be something you’re missing.

The Honest Sleep Support is our most rounded, comprehensive sleep support. We take the time to go through a comprehensive intake and optional sleep diary, hang out for 60 minutes via Zoom working through all the things, and then we send you over a comprehensive plan with additionatl resources.

  • You might be feeling completely overhwhelmed, confused and lost with sleep. You know it’s not working, but you’re not sure where to start.

    You want the complete support package - the sleep diary and intake review, the consult and the plan of attack.

    KEEP IN MIND…

    This service includes a comprehensive intake and sleep diary review, plus a detailed plan. If this doesn’t float your boat (not everyone likes the homework!), the Honest Sleep Consult may be better suited.

    There is the option for further follow-up support if implementing changes for an additional fee - booking link will be provided with your plan.

  • Fiona is the founder of Mama Matters and is off basking in her new, third little babe!

    Whilst on maternity leave, Fiona is throwing the 1:1 consults over to her trusty sidekicks.

    Whilst the girls draw from their own unique backgrounds and knowledge, the underlying values of responsive, attachment-centred and developmentally appropriate sleep support are upheld through any support you receive at Mama Matters.

    (That means absolutely no shady advice to leave your baby to cry or to avoid eye contact).

    We’re all here on a shared mission: to uncomplicate sleep and parenting, and find confidence and joy in motherhood through supportive consults.

    Meet Sheridan, a psychologist, sleep scientist, holistic sleep specialist, and registered Circle of Security Parenting facilitator - and mama to a beautiful toddler (with another on the way).

    Sheridan has made it her mission to share her extensive knowledge of sleep science, psychology, and child development to empower parents to make informed decisions and raise happy, thriving children.

    Sheridan's approach is grounded in respect for every family's unique needs and circumstances. Above all, Sheridan is passionate about helping parents feel confident and empowered in their parenting journey, and enhancing the connection and communication between parents and children.

    Sheridan loves working with babies and kiddos of any age with a range of sleep challenges or transitions.

  • Meet Katie, a Baby-Led Sleep Specialist and mama to two beautiful (and busy) boys. Katie’s background is in Registered Nursing and her experience as both a healthcare professional and patient within the healthcare system has birthed a keen interest in evidence-based information and health communication that is accessible for all.

    Her interest in infant and child sleep and family-centred care began after parenting her eldest; a highly sensitive little one who woke frequently overnight for months on end. Having a pandemic baby meant access to in-person support was remarkably difficult, and Katie discovered the incredible education work being carried out by parenting professionals within the online space.

    She is passionate about joining the work to bridge the gaps in maternity care and parental education, in particular the relationship between overall health and well-being and its impact upon sleep. She understands the importance of balancing the whole family’s need for rest whilst continuing to provide responsive caregiving.

    Katie has a particular interest in high sensitivity and neurodiversity in relation to sleep, and has experience parenting with chronic health issues, supporting a child with developmental differences and navigating the NDIS.

    She is happy to work with clients of all ages and gladly welcomes a challenge.
